1. DPDP Act, 2023 Compliance
In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 of India, CabPlanner acts as a Data Fiduciary. We collect, process, and store your personal data strictly for lawful purposes related to managing your Creator Partner account, processing commission payouts, and fulfilling our legal and regulatory obligations.
Consent: By submitting your application to join the Creator Partner Program, you provide unambiguous consent for CabPlanner to process the data categories listed below.
2. Data We Collect & Lawful Basis
A. Identifiable Information
Includes your full name, email address, WhatsApp/phone number, and social media handles. Purpose: Account creation, communication, and verifying your affiliate channels.
B. Financial & Tax Data (KYC)
Includes your PAN (Permanent Account Number), UPI ID, and Bank Account details. Purpose: Processing weekly commission payouts and mandated TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) deductions under Indian tax law.
C. Technical & Tracking Data
IP addresses, browser type, and cookie identifiers used when you access your dashboard or when users click your unique affiliate links. Purpose: Fraud prevention, analytics, and accurately attributing sales to your account.
3. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. Your data is only shared with trusted third parties strictly necessary to operate the program:
- Payment Processors: To disburse your commission payouts directly to your bank.
- Government & Regulatory Bodies: Your PAN and earnings data are shared with the Income Tax Department of India for TDS filing purposes.
4. Data Retention & Your Rights (Deletion)
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You may initiate an account deletion request by emailing [email protected].
Please Note: Even upon account deletion, data required for financial auditing and tax compliance (e.g., invoices, TDS certificates, PAN records of past payouts) will be retained for up to 8 years as mandated by the Indian Income Tax Act.
